Asylum 13 The Ogre Cigar

Released in 2013, the Asylum 13 Ogre is an extremely unique take on an already unique idea in cigar making… the barber pole. Most barber pole designed cigars utilize both a lighter Habano or Connecticut wrapper with a darker maduro leaf in order to give it that characteristic striped design, but the ogre went a little further. Instead of a maduro, Christian Eiroa decided that his barber pole design would have a candela wrapper paired with the more traditional habano to give the Ogre a striking brown and green stripe.
